About Emirates Flight Catering:

In July 2007, we launched a state-of-the-art complex dedicated to servicing the flights of Emirates. With a built-up area of over 56,000m2, it’s the largest facility of its kind in the world. The complex’s sophisticated automation includes a 2.55km electric monorail system for transporting meal carts, a bin conveyor system to transfer clean items from the Warewash area to the Production and Operations departments, and a vacuum waste system with pipes over 600m long.

We also cater to other airlines operating at Dubai International airport and currently serve more than 100 regular airline clients. In November 2018, our business grew further with the opening of an additional facility which is dedicated to the production of Emirates Airline First and Business Class meals. With this facility, we have gone further in terms of automation and state-of-the-art equipment.

Key Accountabilities:

• Plan and manage section head’s (and other senior manager’s) priorities and daily schedule based on priorities and deadlines to ensure optimal time management, follow up on deadlines and key dates and associated deliverables
• Contribute to regular review of work methods, forms, formats, and standards to improve operating efficiency.
• Contribute by responding, coordinating & investigating requests/queries received to actively support stakeholder groups.
• Maintain a strong follow-up approach on pending matters with the concerned individuals to ensure matters are completed with the desired outcome.
• Recommends and implements initiatives that enhance the department’s way of working, team activities, and guidelines.
• Participate in the achievement of team objectives, seeking ongoing support, direction and self-development so that results are achieved.
• Update and maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, ensuring adherence with company policy, and accepted administration practices and maintaining the confidentiality of company / department-related information
• Responsible for ensuring administration of time management activities i.e. leave plans, timesheets, and rosters.
• Ensuring timely processing and accuracy of information.
• Responsible for the administration of coupon orders and other Adhoc requests as given by the senior management
